About Me
Hi! My name is Franci. I am an experienced educator with a passion for sharing my love of learning. I have dedicated the past 11 years to working in public education that include districts such as Pentucket and Newburyport. I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with a focus in Psychology and Education. Shortly after, I attended Gordon College, where I earned my master’s degree in Special Education. I currently hold four Massachusetts licenses, ranging from Pre-K to Grade 12 and have provided remote tutoring services to students from all over the U.S. I have experience teaching a wide variety of subjects including Math, English Language Arts, Science, Humanities and Life Skills.
I believe in a “student first” approach to teaching. Learning is not strictly confined to the classroom. Learning happens constantly and it happens everywhere. I have made it my mission to assist in fostering that learning process to ensure that students are given the appropriate guidance and flexibility to enhance individualized growth.
All students deserve to feel valued and to be given the opportunity to reach their full potential. My goal is to create a positive and nurturing work environment where students feel safe and secure in their ability to take risks and learn from their successes and their mistakes.
Let’s get learning!
